Date – August 2nd, 2025 (Saturday)
Time – 9:30AM – 3:30PM, with a lunch break
Location – Cromford Mills, Matlock, DE4 3RQ. Just a few minute drive from Matlock. A map with detailed directions will be provided nearer the time.
What’s included?
- All materials (except brushes)
- Full day’s tuition: a demonstration and individualised teaching, advice and feedback throughout the day
- Use of easels and palettes
- Small, friendly group of painters and a jolly good time!
Cromford Mills is a beautiful location with plenty of parking, on site toilets and a lovely cafe. Please note that a basic level of fitness is required as you might need to carry your painting gear (light aluminium easel, a canvas board and a small bag of art supplies) 10-15min each way.

If paying deposit only, the balance will be due a the week of the workshop. Please see cancellation policy below. If the weather forecast turns sour, you will be offered a choice of a different date or a full refund.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that the deposit (£30) is non-refundable. However, if I manage to fill your spot, I will gladly refund your deposit, minus a £5 transaction fee. For this reason, it is advisable to cancel as early as you can and no later than 48h before the start of the workshop. No refunds offered if cancelled less than 24h before the start of the workshop (usually 10am on the day before).
