Oil on deep edge cradled wood panel, framed in a solid wood white frame, size: 24x24cm, depth 5cm. Unframed size 20 x 20cm.

This seaside painting uses creamy, non-overlapping brushstrokes to show the pastel skies of bright sunny day, with a contrasting orange just visible between them. The orange complements the olive greens in the trees and gives the scene an inviting warmth. This painting is from my “Neon” collection of paintings where a bright contrasting colour shows through gaps in the paint. The orange sides of the box wood panel are clearly visible, giving the floater gap a glowing neon effect.
