Take your oil painting further in this inspiring two-day masterclass! Ideal for enthusiastic beginners and continuing learners alike, this workshop offers a deeper dive into everything that makes a great landscape painting.
Day 1: October 4th (Saturday) – learning the fundamentals (paint application, tone, colour, composition & brushwork) by creating several small landscape studies
Day 2: October 5th (Sunday) – combining these skills to create a stunning larger landscape painting in oils
Time – 10:00AM – 3:30PM, with a lunch break
Baslow Village Hall, Baslow, Derbyshire, DE45 1SR (near Chatsworth House)
What’s included?
- All materials (except brushes)
- Full day’s tuition: a demonstration and individualised teaching, advice and feedback throughout the day
- Use of easels and palettes
- Learning materials: printed reference photos, value scales, colour wheels

Cancellation Policy
Please note that the deposit (£60) is non-refundable. However, if I manage to fill your spot (there is usually a waiting list), I will gladly refund your deposit, minus a £5 transaction fee. For this reason, it is advisable to cancel as early as you can and no later than 48h before the start of the workshop. No refunds offered if cancelled less than 24h before the start of the workshop (usually 10am on the day before).
